Many communities struggle to solve complex community problems and fail to create and implement meaningful solutions necessary to achieving the results that they want. In short communities many communities fail to innovate, namely because they are not intentional about it. 

The accelerating rate of global change and unpredictable business environments present a profound challenge to our ability to plan, manage, and grow our communities these days.  Companies and talent alike are increasingly looking to locate or grow in communities that welcome change, embrace creativity, and build innovative environments.

Our response to the rate of economic, social and structural change is perhaps the most important strategic imperative facing companies, and communities alike for three reasons:

  1. Everyone is affected - The problems that we have like workforce development, aging demographics, shifting business models like remote work cut across the silos that we try to solve them in. 

  2. Income inequality in America is the highest that it has ever been which in itself is the root cause of so many problems.

  3. Smart strategy isn’t enough
